Meet Violin and Viola Instructor Rachel Schnackel

Rachel Fellows-Schnackel teaches and resides in Hamilton, MT. She began her violin studies at age 3 under her mother, Suzuki Teacher Trainer Esther Fellows. She is currently violin and viola teacher for Schnackel Strings Studio. Rachel holds a Bachelors and a Masters in Music Performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) and received her Artist Diploma at the University of Memphis. During her studies she served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant to Kevin Lawrence and apprentice to Suzuki Teacher Trainer Esther Fellows. Rachel is a registered Suzuki Teacher in 10 books and Every Child Can! by the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA). 

Rachel has performed as Associate Concertmaster with North Mississippi Symphony Orchestra and in the violin sections of Memphis, Jackson, Arkansas Symphonies, as well as Nashville Opera. When not performing in the classical circuit, Rachel enjoys playing with her jazz trio.
